FARM TO TABLE

Learning Where Food Begins

Farm to Table is a part of Honey Queen’s Beyond the Jar initiative. It is an educational programme designed to reconnect people with nature, food, and the vital role of bees in sustaining life.

Our approach begins inside classrooms and gradually moves closer to nature, allowing participants to first understand concepts and then experience them in real life.

Awareness Sessions

We conduct engaging, age appropriate sessions that introduce the participants to the natural world in a meaningful and memorable way.
Through storytelling, props and visuals we simplify complex ideas and spark genuine curiosity about where food comes from and how nature sustains us.

What We Cover

Our sessions are story driven, interactive, and designed to spark curiosity.

  • Where food comes from
  • The journey of honey, from flower to jar
  • The role of bees in pollination and biodiversity
  • The connection between nature, farming, and everyday

Learning Beyond the Classroom

For a more immersive journey, participants can step into our apiary and farm spaces through a guided experience.

Here, learning becomes real through close interaction with bees, deeper understanding of ecosystems, and witnessing how nature and food systems coexist.

This extended, hands on experience is offered as a curated, chargeable programme.

What We Cover

Our sessions offer a hands on, immersive experience where curious, aspiring beekeepers of all ages step into a real apiary in a safe, guided setting. Dressed in beekeeping attire, they enjoy a guided visit, safely interact with bees up close, and are introduced to essential beekeeping tools while observing the rhythm of the hive in action.

They also witness live honey extraction from hive to jar, naturally connect pollination to the food we eat, and experience a calm, nature led environment even a picnic amidst the bees. It’s a chance to slow down, engage with nature, and embrace a truly mindful, slow living experience.
