Learning Where Food Begins

Ritu Suri

Honey Queen CEO

At Honey Queen, Farm to Table is an educational initiative created to reconnect young minds with nature, food systems, and the vital role of bees in sustaining life.

Our approach begins inside classrooms and gradually moves closer to nature allowing children to first understand concepts and then experience them in real life.

School Awareness Sessions

We conduct introductory sessions in schools to help students understand:

  • Where food comes from
  • The journey of honey from flower to jar
  • The role of bees in pollination and biodiversity
  • How nature, farming, and people are connected

These sessions are age-appropriate, story driven, and designed to spark curiosity and awareness rather than overwhelm with technical details.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

For deeper engagement, students are invited to experience learning first-hand through guided visits to our apiary and farm space.

Here, children move from theory to experience seeing, observing, and understanding how bees live and how food systems function in harmony with nature.

What We Share

Our sessions are tailored to different age groups and learning levels, covering topics such as:

  • The journey of honey: from flower to jar
  • The role of bees in pollination and food security
  • Life inside a beehive
  • Sustainable farming and ethical beekeeping
  • How everyday choices impact nature

Sessions are interactive, story driven, and grounded in real-world experience rather than theory alone.

For Schools & Universities

Farm to Table programs are suitable for:

  • Primary and middle school students
  • Senior school learners
  • University students and educators

We work closely with institutions to align sessions with curriculum themes, sustainability goals, and experiential learning outcomes.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Where possible, our programs extend beyond talks into:

  • Hands on demonstrations
  • Visual learning aids
  • Discussions on sustainability and biodiversity
  • Exposure to real life beekeeping practices

These experiences help students build a deeper, lasting connection with nature.

Our Intention

At Honey Queen, education is a form of conservation. By helping young minds understand where food comes from and why bees matter, we hope to inspire conscious choices that support biodiversity and sustainable living
